About the programme
This programme is for senior managers working in the humanitarian and development sector with a minimum of five years’ experience working with recognised national and international Non‐Governmental Organisations, UN Agencies, private sector organisations or relevant government bodies, and who have at least three years in a managerial role. Applicants should have a strong motivation to develop their leadership skills to make a positive contribution to the future of the sector.

Accreditation: This is a university level graduate course and students will be assessed. Successful applicants will be enrolled as students with Deakin University. Successful completion of the four units will result in your eligibility to obtain the Graduate Certificate of Humanitarian Leadership. Students who successfully complete the course can also apply to enrol in the Masters of Humanitarian Assistance.
Duration: The Humanitarian Leadership Programme consists of 4 distinct units. The entire course will run over a period of eight months. See Programme Schedule for dates of the upcoming course.
